SMP Receives Two Prestigious Vendor Awards

Standard Motor Products was recognized with two prestigious vendor awards at the Automotive Parts Services Group’s inaugural joint members meeting.

First, SMP received The Group’s 2017 Outstanding Vendor of the Year for providing quality products, quality people, and support to the members of Federated Auto Parts & National Pronto Association. Later on during the award banquet, SMP received the 2017 International Vendor of the Year for superior service in the global aftermarket.

SMP was the first vendor to be honored by the combined members of Federated Auto Parts and National Pronto Association Members.

The Automotive Parts Services Group, also known as The Group, is a merger between Federated Auto Parts and National Pronto Association. Together, the organization features more than 5,000 locations in North America with estimated member revenue of approximately $7 billion.

The Group’s first joint meeting took place at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, TX.
