Standard Motor Products Wins Two Awards from Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance

Standard Motor Products was recognized twice during the channel partners award banquet at the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance's recent winter shareholder's meeting.

First, Standard Motor Products received the alliance's "Outstanding Shipping Performance" award, which is an especially noteworthy award considering both the number and seasonality of SMP's products.

Commenting on the recognition, John R. Washbish, Chief Executive Officer and President, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, stated, "[Shipping] is one of the most important functions that a supplier has to our shareholders."

Later in the awards banquet, SMP also received the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance's "Outstanding Training Support Award".
